Bridge College is a Specialist Further Education Day College for students aged 16 to 22 with learning difficulties and disabilities including Autism Spectrum Conditions and complex communication disorders.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to lead and develop positive behaviour support across the College. The successful candidate should be confident, motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and interested in a holistic person centred approach in a vibrant College environment.
The post holder will provide support to young people with complex learning
difficulties and/or Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). You will be working
alongside a range of professionals including teachers, therapists and learning support assistants.
As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to assessments; develop Individual Behaviour Plans; observe, monitor and record progress and work directly with young people and their families to support learning and positive behaviour management. You will lead the positive behaviour team and provide guidance and support to staff.
