Leading Aerospace organisation are looking for an experienced Bid Engineer to join their expanding team in the North West of England.

This role is to manage and co-ordinate all operations Bid activities and support the wider groups bid process to provide cost effective solutions that meet the customer needs.

The position will involve; reviewing technical proposals within the engineering and commercial teams to understand system content, feasibility and requirements; leading and coordinating activities between departments to establish products costs, manufacturing strategy, schedule and risks; Seeking lower cost solutions and strategies for Legacy and new products; Establishing and controlling bid budgets and schedules and planning and conducting internal and customer progress reviews.

Candidates should have proved bid engineering/management experience within the manufacturing field and have an Engineering or Commercial based degree or equivalent. Must be proficient in the use of PC based software packages such as Excel, Project or similar management tools. Should be a team builder capable of motivating and inspiring others to meet project needs and commercial astute and technical competent with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
