A successful Insurance provider currently has a vacancy for a Senior Customer Service Claims Executive (Department Manager) reporting to the Regional Service Manager. The successful applicant will ideally have a sound knowledge of insurance and will be responsible for the delivery of customer service standards within the Department.

Responsibilities include:

• Management, coaching and direction of the Customer Service Claims Department to meet the Group's objectives and service standards
• Working with Regional Service Manager and Executives to deliver consistent service standards both regionally and nationally in a cost effective manner
• Managing resources effectively together with staff development, succession planning and recruitment
• Ensuring set objectives are met inclusive of obligations for compliance as dictated by the FSA and overseeing complaints
• Developing and maintaining working relationships with the Agency network, Operations team and third party providers, as appropriate
• Management of the implementation of procedural and process changes to the Department
• Deputising for the Regional Services Manager as required

The successful Applicant will be able to:

• Provide proven record of managing people and teams through periods of change acting as a change agent at all times
• Strong leadership
• Excellent judgement and decision making
• Good communication/negotiating skills
• Verbal and written skills together with initiative
• Proactive in order to generate improvements in processes and methods of work

ACII or a relevant business degree is the required qualification: however, experienced applicants holding an insurance diploma may be considered.
