Our Business Development Executives are a core function of our business. As one of our Business Development Executives you will identify, initiate and nurture relationships, both over the phone and via e-mail, with decision makers to qualify sales opportunities. It will utilise your professional communication, your research and interviewing skills, as well as your marketing and sales skills.

You will be responsible for:
Making outbound calls to businesses in order to generate new sales opportunities for the company
Fully investigating businesses using a variety of methods
Identifying and making contact with senior decision makers in order to gain the required information and discuss the products and services available and the benefits it would bring their business
Passing qualified leads to Business Development Manager to negotiate the sale
After each contact with the company documenting the result of each call, updating the database typing clear and concise notes

You will be targeted on generating sales leads for the Business Development Managers
You will be responsible for hitting targets, in a pressured environment with daily activity targets

Skills/Attributes Required:-
The role requires a proactive sales professional ideally with the following experience:
- Previous experience in outbound sales (telesales)
- New business or lead generation sales
Managing high outbound call volumes
Self management of contacts and schedule
Preparing summary reports of leads generated indentifying points of interest
Excellent organisation skills
You will be a highly self motivated individual
Have a professional approach to all work carried out
Be able to work consistently on the telephone daily

The position requires great verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to actively listen, the ability to be assertive and persuasive, and the ability to learn and think on your feet. Basic computer skills are also required for efficient documentation and research

Salary up to £18,000 plus uncapped commission
