KINGSLAND WINES & SPIRITS
Based Manchester Area
Salary circa £23k circa
Kingsland Wines & Spirits is a well established and rapidly expanding company sourcing wines globally and bottling and supplying both wines and spirits to the UK retail trade. With five bottling lines and bag-in-box capability there has been significant recent investment in all areas of the business including people, plant and site development.
Recent restructure within the business has resulted in the need to strengthen our Quality team. As a result of this we are now looking to recruit for the position of:
Night Shift Quality Auditor
Reporting to the Quality Manager the successful candidate will have the experience of working within a manufacturing environment, working within a food background would be a distinct advantage.
The key objectives of the role are as follows:
€¢ Verification of production operators quality control checks
€¢ Routine quality inspection of finished goods
€¢ Issuing specifications and paperwork to production
€¢ Trouble shooting problems
€¢ Report and audit write-ups
The successful candidate will have good administration skills with the ability to be able to communicate at all levels. They would be expected to work as part of a team and unsupervised under their own initiative. You should have good IT skills in particular in MS Access and knowledge of HACCP and auditing.
You must be able to work shifts on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern.
