We are currently looking to recruit an excellent Business Manager who is able to run a large depot site and Manager the business efficiently.
Overall Summary:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the post holder will take overall accountability for managing a business unit with responsibility for delivering the KPIβs in particular Revenue, Installs, Customer Complaints, Surveys, Absence, Health and Safety, Quality. Delivery of their KPIβs will ensure that profitability and productivity levels are maximised. They will have direct responsibility for the Supervisors and Admin Supervisor, ensuring an efficient end to end customer journey.
’ As a member of the regional management team working closely with piers to deliver the home services business plan, onto only ensuring that the current delivery targets are achieved and future growth plans are identified.
’ Revenue is achieved and exceeded against budget for the depot.
’ Work with the business development team to bring in new work to drive productivity/revenue.
’ Working closely with the regional management team to ensure that pipelines throughout are sufficient to service as a minimum the budget expectations, whether through new business, survey generation, or processing within the central team.
’ Accountable for delivering the depot P&L to a profit, identifying and actioning efficiencies where possible.
’ Ensure that the depot is compliant with all transport regulations/policies.
’ Health and Safety Guidelines are adhered to by all depot partners ensuring that any non compliances are managed consistently in line with H&S guidelines/policy.
’ Accidents numbers are reduced year on year through proactive management. In the event of an accident, these are reported/investigated thoroughly with appropriate action taken to minimise future incidents.
’ Depots achieve programming targets ensuring budget targets are met as a minimum, through the required measures installed per day and revenues generated
’ Work with the External Resource Business Managers, Field Delivery Manager & Contracts Manager to ensure the levels of work are optimised for the depot.
’ Quality meets the target of a minimum of 95% based on internal inspections.
’ Revenue is achieved and exceeded against budget for the depot.
’ Oversee the month end stock checks and authorise the ordering of relevant stock moving forward.
’ Check and sign off bonus calculations on a weekly basis, ensuring that Payroll deadlines are achieved.
’ A communication strategy is in place to ensure effective two way communication for all partners is achieved.
’ Effective and robust manpower planning to ensure the depot structure is maintained within headcount targets to deliver the required performance within budget.
’ All partners within the team receive meaningful performance reviews in line with the corporate timelines
’ A meaningful Succession/Talent plan is in place for the depot.
’ Manage resources, identifying in advance, the need for further recruitment campaigns and ensure that all new staff receive appropriate training.
’ Review and evaluate the teamβs performance, providing and implementing strategic solutions to problems or areas of concern.
’ Depot Customer Complaints are below the target of 0.25% of revenue.
’ Depot Remedial are below the target set for the depot.
’ All partners within their team are trained and qualified to do their roles, taking into account legislation (e.g. ACOPs etc.)
’ Ensure that all members of the team are working to Company standards and are adhering to the Company values.
’ Work in conjunction with the HR Business Partner to drive continuous improvements and to ensure that the operational and people measures are delivered effectively.
’ PES action plans are in place for the depot and these are being continually reviewed and worked on leading to improved partner engagement in the depot
’ Absence procedures are followed by the team and the depots absence level is below the agreed group target.
’ Exit interviews are completed for all partners leaving the business and the depots attrition levels is below the agreed group target
’ The depot deals with ER cases in a timely fashion and ensures consistency of decision making with the other depots.
’ Experience of managing a stand alone business unit
