Job Description

Stores and Purchasing Supervisor (Stock Controller) BLUS3223

Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Salary £17,000 - £19,000

As a registered charity with over 100 years’ experience, our client provides exceptional education, therapy, support and life skills development to individuals with epilepsy and complex learning disabilities.

Within the role you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels at an optimum level to ensure continuity of supply; negotiating with suppliers to obtain best price and quality provision and procuring stock for issue to houses / units based at the Warford site on a just in time basis. 

You must process all stock transactions on both the stock and purchase order processing functions within the accounting system and act as a buyer for the organisation and liaising with college tutors to provide work experience for students.

Candidates for this role must have previous experience of stores management and computerised stock and purchase order processing systems coupled with knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages.  Supervisory experience is desirable and you must hold a full UK driving licence.
